Lions go racing for charity

Spalding Lions Club held a race night with sausage and mash supper at The South Holland Centre.

Compere for the night was Lion president Stuart East through ten races which were shown during the evening.
A spokesman for Spalding Lions said: “We’d like to thank everyone who came along to the event, Tom Mehew and team, Clark Catering, horse and race sponsors, businesses who bought advertising space in the race brochure and also those who donated raffle prizes.
“Without you all successful events like this would not be possible.
“We welcome new members and can be contacted through our Facebook page or by emailing Lion Julie Grant at julie.grant0897@gmail.com
