Lincoln Arms A tightened their grip on the Pinchbeck & District Winter Darts League Division A with two wins in the week, extending their lead to eight points.
They beat Drayman’s Arms in their away fixture, going on to secure a 6-3 victory. Simon Hill impressed with an 18-dart leg for Lincoln, Jason Chilvers produced a 112 checkout, and Josh Grainger fired a 15-darter in singles wins over Dean Murray and Steve Gaughan respectively for the Drayman’s.
Earlier in the week, they dispatched the same opponents 7-2 at home, where Steve Gaughan hit a 180. Royal Mail Cart remain in touch with a game in hand, following a commanding 7-2 home win over Consti Club C. Chris Fidler nailed a 110 finish and Jason Vines fired an 18-dart leg for the Cart.
Jacob Herd was the sole singles winner for the visitors beating Josh Ford 2-1.
Green Dragon A edged out Consti Club B 5-4 at home. Scott Williams impressed with a 180 and 106 finish, while Jon Goor added a 112 checkout and an 18-dart leg, both for the Dragon.
Lincoln Arms D took a tight 5-4 win away at Black Bull Kirton. Wins from Vlad Fomkinas, Si Barnett, Dan Gent and Tony Spinks sealed it before Mark Graham salvaged the final game for the Bull, beating Andy Palmer 2-1 including a 180.
Pinchbeck FC B held off a late surge from Services Club B to win 5-4 away. Leading 5-1, Services rallied with wins from Ady Smith, Colin Beckett, and Dave Norbury to close the gap.
In Division B, Kirton Leisure moved closer to the title with a 6-3 home win over second-placed Consti Club Z. Mark Ledger, Finn Andrews and Ash Brown secured the last three singles, while Mark Sellars hit a 180.
Green Dragon Z cruised to a 7-2 away win at Consti Club A, where Chris Mumby was the only singles winner for the hosts, beating Toby Lyons 2-0.
Services Club A edged Lincoln Arms C 5-4 away. Despite leading 5-1, they dropped the final three singles to Zac Brown, Nigel Goodwin and Tony Brown.
Bottom side Green Dragon C fell 7-2 at Pinchbeck FC C. Luke Hackett claimed their only singles win, beating Emma Tickner 2-1. Josh Burton fired an 18-dart leg for the football club.
Consti Club D let a 4-2 lead slip at home to Pied Calf, who took the last three games through Mark Foster, Darren Tansley and Ben Killingsworth, who hit a 180 to seal the comeback.
