Lincoln Arms A and Royal Mail Cart keep pace with Division A victories

Lincoln Arms A maintained their lead in the Pinchbeck & District Winter Darts League with a commanding 8-1 home win over Pinchbeck FC B.

Jimmy Tenno and Steve Stancer both hit 180s for the leaders, while Tom Elderkin replied with a 180 for the visitors. Mark Dixon was the sole winner for Pinchbeck.

Royal Mail Cart kept the pressure on with an identical 8-1 home victory against Green Dragon A.

Darren Gedney and Ash Allen both hit 180s, while Jack Chilvers recorded a 17-dart leg and teamed with Gedney for an 18-dart pairs leg. Shayne Hubbard was the only winner for Dragon.

Services Club B also impressed with an 8-1 home win over Consti Club B. Dave Norbury fired in a 17-dart leg, while Chris Howling claimed the lone point for Consti with a 2-0 singles win over Andy Mason.

Consti Club C edged out Black Bull 5-4 after racing to a 5-1 lead. Wins for Karl Louth, Pete Grooby and Mark Graham narrowed the gap. Jordan Philpott hit a 180 and teamed with Jacob Herd for a 16-dart pairs leg. Herd added a 17-dart leg in his singles win for Consti.

Drayman’s Arms remain bottom after an 8-1 home defeat to Lincoln Arms D. Jason Chilvers was the only winner for the hosts, beating Jake Merrill 2-0.

Division B leaders Kirton Leisure suffered only their second defeat of the season, going down 5-4 away at Lincoln Arms C. Singles wins for Nigel Goodwin, Jay Fountain and Steve Doades sealed the win.

Second-placed Consti Club Z missed the chance to close the gap, losing 5-4 away at Consti Club D. Riley Collins, Nick Collins and Dean Drage won the final three singles to turn the match around.

Consti Club A also let a lead slip, failing to convert a 4-3 advantage at home to Services Club A. Acker Kelk and Sarah O’Driscoll won the final two games to give Services a 5-4 win.

Pinchbeck FC C climbed to third place after a 6-3 home win over Green Dragon Z. Emma Tickner and Adam Rolfe secured the victory before Josh Burton added the final point.

Green Dragon C were 4-1 up at home to the Pied Calf, but the visitors stormed back with singles wins from Richard Barker, Darren Tansley, Mark Foster and Adam Massam to snatch a 5-4 win. Jamie Balding got a 156 checkout for Dragon.
