Lights to lift air ambulance

A Spalding man who raises money for the air ambulance with his Christmas displays will be switching this year’s lights on Saturday (November 30).

Steve Marriott first decided to deck his house on Farthingales out to provide some cheer during the COVID-19 lockdowns.
He’s continued to do it every year and last year raised £250 towards the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
It’s back for 2025 and this year’s lights will have their official unveiling on Saturday at 6.30pm.
Steve’s partner Cath Cole said: “Steve makes all the exhibits by hand and with the use of a 3D printer.
“He also programs the lights and music himself.
“This offers children and adults alike and immersive experience and really starts the countdown to Christmas.
“It’s great to be able to help the air ambulance as you never know when any of us might need it.”
