A huge thank you would like to be said to South Holland District Council whose kindness must not go un-noted.
Last week in the extreme weather conditions that South Holland faced, SHDC took it upon themselves to cancel an achievement night they were having.
They deemed it unfair to celebrate, whilst others in the local area were struggling. In light of this, SHDC decided to donate all the food they had pre-set for the event to a local homeless charity based in Spalding and Holbeach.
Both the staff and residents of this organisation are extremely grateful for their noble act, and would like the residents of South Holland to be aware of their kindness at a time where many were struggling.
Framework housing sincerely hopes the staff of SHDC are able to hold the awards night again in the very near future.
