LETTERS – Thanks for help after fall

I was taken to a meeting in Love Lane on Friday, January 30 at about 6.50pm, when I had a nasty fall and head butted a building.

I got a graze and little bump and bloodied knee amongst other injuries but a couple driving by actually saw me fall and stopped to help me.

They were both very nice and pleasant towards me and wanted to get the emergency services out to me because head butting a house wall is not recommended!

They both lifted me to my feet and stayed with me until I felt more stable. They collected my handbag and gave it to me.

The gentleman then walked me all the way to the door of the hall. I did thank them but I didn’t ask their names, which I regret.

Once in the hall I was well looked after.

Sincere thanks to everyone concerned.
