LETTERS – Taxes pay for vital services

I feel so so sorry for Trevor Taylor, reading his letter in The Voice, so he’s got to pay a bit more tax.
Just over a year ago, a friend called round, he had pains in his chest, so I drove him to the Johnson Hospital in Spalding, he was seen right away.
45 minutes later he was on his way to hospital where a team of doctors were waiting to operate on him.
Four days later he was discharged with boxes of tablets. If he had to pay for all his treatment that would have cost thousands.
Paying a bit more tax helps to pay for the NHS.
Perhaps Mr Taylor should have got an accountant to help with his taxes and save a bit. Or get in touch with his MP Sir John Hayes, what with his £90K wages and his other three jobs, he might have been able to give him a few tips on saving on his tax bill.
