Coun Jim Astill ought to concentrate on the disgusting service given out by the people who answer the phones at the district council.
In the last few years when I have tried to renew my garden rubbish pick up all they come up with is ‘I cannot, my computer is down, I’ll phone you back’ and they never do, so why are they being paid for something they are there for but don’t do?
As for the purple flag, has he ever been in town during the day and seen drunks arguing?
One time in the middle of the day I was accosted by one wanting money.
So if it is not safe during the day what makes him think the nighttime is any better?
By the way, if you are reading this Coun Astill, what happened to the meeting you promised me would happen months ago or don’t you like being told what people think about the service you don’t seem interested in providing?
