LETTERS – Path is a waste of money

What a waste of money! £288,000 to be spent on 240 metres of path from Holbeach Road to the Springfields car park. Why?
Surely the Levelling Up money would be better spent on other projects within the town that would enhance living here, and not access to an out-of-town shopping centre.
Has anyone done any investigation on how many people use that route at the moment?
Try starting by improving the bus services around the town if you want to encourage more people to leave their cars at home.
