I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the people involved at my 80th birthday party.
First of all, Holbeach United Services Club for looking after us, then Mrs Roffe for the catering they did so well.
Also thank you to Hank Watson, Barry Stickpenny and Dave James for excellent music and entertainment.
Finally all of the friends who came to celebrate my birthday with their generous donations.
A total of £680 was collected on the night. This has been made up to £1,000.
Cheques have been made out at Nationwide, £500 to Breast Cancer Care and £500 to Cancer Research. These will be delivered to the Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.
