LETTERS – Nice to hear of honesty

I would like to reply to one of your kind readers who had hit someone’s car and wanted to own up, but after finding a pen and paper, he went back and the car he hit had gone.

I had the same happen to me in December after getting my hair cut.

I went back to my car to find the back end had been bumped really hard and all I had on my back window was a blank piece of paper from a takeaway box.

I had been gone half hour and obviously the person that hit me had no insurance, couldn’t be bothered or someone was watching, so the culprit decided to pretend to be honest!

I was so angry, so I was pleased to see the gentleman’s letter in The Voice. There are some decent people around
