LETTERS – New takeaways, more litter

What good news regarding KFC and Taco Bell getting permission to build new takeaways on Lincs Gateway Business Park.

As well as providing direct employment, they will also provide endless jobs for Spalding Wombles in collecting takeaway rubbish that KFC and Taco Bell’s customers will doubtless generate along the roads around the site.

As a keen walker I think the optimum distance – if McDonald’s is anything to go by – is about three miles’ driving distance from the business park when KFC and Taco Bell’s customers will, having consumed their takeaways, decide to lower their car window and jettison their food packaging!
