LETTERS – More like 1950s event please

Thank you so much to all who arranged and attended the 1950s event on Saturday, July 23, at Ayscoughfee Gardens, Spalding

The entertainment was so very enjoyable.

My friend and I sat all afternoon and loved every minute of it, a relaxed atmosphere.

Children were well catered for as well.

The man and lady who constantly sang were so entertaining.

The elderly lady who spent a large part of the afternoon dancing with her walking stick was an inspiration to us all and makes us realise you are never too old to join in. God bless her and well done.

Events like this give Spalding something to be proud of and would love to enjoy more!
