LETTERS – Jubilee dog show was great

My dog Poppy, an 11-year-old King Charles Cavalier, won best in class at the Long Sutton Dog Show.

A good number of dog owners braved the wet weather to take part in the dog show, run by Hayden Feetham in a rather sodden and wind swept Winfrey Park as part of the Long Sutton Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Poppy has been the Long Sutton Men’s Shed mascot for three years and is the only female permitted in the Men’s Shed without invitation.

This was Poppy’s first dog show so she was a little unsure what was going on and what was expected of her but she was calm and did her stuff to come out on top.
