LETTERS – Coming together for clean up

As most people know a group of travellers took over the car park and grounds of our village hall on Tuesday.

I would like to thank local residents for their forbearance whilst we examined what options were open to us.

A huge vote of thanks must go to Inspector Gareth Boxall and his police officers for taking action on Thursday by ensuring that the travellers left without any trouble.

After they left Jo Reynolds (district councillor) and local residents got together to clean up the traveller’s mess.
