LETTERS – Booking system is not working

What on earth is the council playing at?

I booked my slot to go to the Spalding Recycling Centre as I have done since the booking system was introduced.

Never any problem. In and out in about five minutes.

When I arrived, there was a queue with about six cars in front of me.

As I waited I saw the queue building up behind me. When I finally got through off loading my garden waste it has taken about half an hour.

Will the council please stop changing the system by increasing the number of people booking the same time slot?

It’s not working. It’s causing traffic queues.
