LETTERS – Attitude is ridiculous

I am writing about your story in this week’s Voice about Marks and Spencer closing in May.

I know we have had a long reprieve but I cannot understand how the store cannot be profitable and I am crushed at losing it.

Please pass on to Lee Boon that Bourne is actually a long way to go on a fairly rubbish rural road for my favourite iced buns and who on earth would drive there or to Peterborough to do food shopping?

The website isn’t really going to help fill the gap either, especially as I do click and collect to the Spalding store.

I find his attitude completely ridiculous.

How exactly have our shopping habits changed round here? Does he mean Ocado? And what I’d really like to know is what would we all have to do to get them to keep the store open?

Thank you for your reporting.
