LETTER: We raised £352 at our quiz night

On Friday, March 27, the Spalding branch of the RNLI held their annual quiz night.

We were delighted to have raised £352 for the charity.

We would like to thank everyone who supported the event, including a team from The Voice.

Special thanks go to Spalding Yacht Club who kindly allowed us to use their club house for the event.

In 2014 RNLI lifeboats rescued 8727 people at sea and, on the beaches, lifeguards were involved in over 17,000 incidents, saving 92 peoples’ lives.

As the RNLI is not government funded, only the continued support by charitable giving will ensure that the lifesaving service continues.
