LETTER: There is no need for hasty action

I wish to protest on behalf of the taxpayers and “hard working families” of Spalding.

On Sunday, May 10, Lincolnshire County Council came and repaired the pothole in the middle of Pinchbeck Road at the junction with Kings Road.

That was a whole three days after the General Election.

The pothole was not what you could call “old”, having only been there for several years.

The council should wake up to the fact that there is now no further need for such hasty action for at least another four and a half years.

Meanwhile, the taxpayers should be allowed to keep their hard earned money to spend as they choose, such as on repairs to car suspensions.
