I should like to thank through your newspaper all those electors who voted UKIP in the recent General Election.
A total of 10,736 votes were cast for myself as UKIP Parliamentary Candidate more than tripling the vote in 2010.
This was a truly remarkable result for South Holland and the Deepings and one of the best in the country.
The one message of the election is that UKIP is a force to be reckoned with in the constituency and is here to stay.
I also congratulate my colleagues who were elected to the local council and wish well to the other candidates who together with me fought the constituency.
