LETTER: Thanks for voting me in – just please don’t expect overnight results

The voters of Spalding South were good enough to lend me their votes for the next four years at Lincolnshire County Council.

They have my gratitude and my promise to work hard on their behalf, but I cannot promise to arrange to mend the footpaths, turn on the lights, cut the grass, clear the dog poo or fix instantly any of the issues which we all feel strongly about.

I will do all I can, however, to make Spalding South a better place for us all. If you see me in Spalding (and you will!) please let me know your concerns, tell me what I can do for you (politely if possible!) and I will do my very best.

Elections are team efforts and my thanks to all.
