On behalf of the Rotary Club of South Holland I write to thank everyone who helped with our annual charity golf competition at Spalding Golf Club on Thursday, August 23.
Our many sponsors, the principal of whom were Howdens Joinery, the friends who donated raffle prizes and the competition entrants can all be proud that together we were able to raise a total just short of £3,000 for Rotary Charities.
The weather for the competition was just about perfect again and the remarkably good condition of the course was commented upon by many players, especially those visitors from other areas whose courses have suffered more during this difficult dry summer.
Spalding’s green-keepers have done an excellent job once again.
It was a most enjoyable day of golf. Thanks once again to everyone involved.
