LETTER: Green bags not fit for purpose

I presume in the interests of economy, the council has changed the quality of the refuse collection bags.

The green ones in particular are inferior and unsuitable. They are thinner and tear easily when full.

They are not scored properly where they join, that’s if you can find the join, and tear easily when being separated.

Whilst I appreciate we must save money, we must surely pay the price for something which is fit for purpose.
