LETTER: Continue to campaign for leave

In South Holland, we voted overwhelmingly in favour of leaving the European Union.

The hopes of freeing ourselves of the ever closer union were justified and democratically inarguable.

Since the referendum, we have had a duty to leave that we are seeing continually jeopardised.

I believe the public have long been ready for the result they voted for.

Despite having battled our way to this point with the help of representatives such as Sir John Hayes, we still have a fight on our hands.

I want to see us become the lowest tax, business-friendly country in Europe.

Remain voters lost on the back of their doomsday scenarios and desperate rhetoric. It failed to materialise then and I still have hope that a future free of the European super-state is the best possible and most likely outcome.
Just as I had campaigned to leave before the referendum, I will continue to now.

If I am successful in the upcoming district election, I hope to be a part of every opportunity Brexit offers the people of South Holland.
