Moulton’s magic run of form continued on Saturday as they blew away South Lincs and Border League Premier Division basement boys Skegness 2nd.
Captain Chris Beale lost the toss and Harrox were forced to bowl on what looked like an incredibly good batting wicket.
However, visitors Harrox started incredibly well with 16-year-old Henry Lavery (5-17) taking a wicket in his first over – which immediately triggered a Skegness collapse.
Beale took a risk and decided to open with teenager spinner Maxwell Cusack – and that proved a remarkable decision as the 18-year-old finished his spell with 3-18 off his 12 over spell, leaving him on 30 wickets for the season.
Jack Cusack also chipped in with two wickets to help skittle Skegness for an incredibly under par score of 88.
In reply, Harrox started poorly with the top three all being dismissed early to leave them toiling on 25-3.
But the ever-reliable Jack Barnett came to the rescue with a solid 36 not out where he was assisted with a useful 13 from Pierce Scourfield 13.
Club legend Karl Hibbert also chipped in, blasting the ball to the boundary to tip Harrox over the finish line on 90-4.
