Last chance to help appeal bid

A two-week bid by local charities to secure essentials for the homeless is going well, but there’s still time to donate this weekend.

Ella’s Project, the St Barnabas Hospice Shop and the St Thomas Project have launched a two-week appeal looking for donations of duvets, blankets, sleeping bags and warm winter coats for teenagers and adults.

They have already had some brilliant donations ahead of the appeal ending this coming Sunday.

Mark with Vanessa Browning of St Thomas Project.

Mark Le Sage, who runs Ella’s Project, said: “Ella’s Project is very grateful for all the donations that have come in so far for the local homeless appeal in conjunction with Community Helping Hands.

“There are still a few days left for donations of duvets, blankets or sleeping bags to be handed in, as the appeal finishes this coming Sunday.

“The team are very appreciative of the support given by the St Barnabas shop in Spalding and the St Thomas Project.

“Donations can be dropped off at the shop but please ring first on 01775 713159 or you can also drop donations off this Sunday from 12pm to 2pm at St Thomas’s Project on St Thomas’s Road, Spalding.”
