Labour’s parliamentary candidate for South Holland and The Deepings backing cancer campaign

Labour’s prospective parliamentary candidate for South Holland and The Deepings is backing Cancer Research UK’s Cross Cancer Out campaign.

Matthew Mahabadi (pictured) has previously fundraised for the charity in the Perkins Great Eastern Run in Peterborough.

He said: “Cancer Research UK is a charity very close to my heart since the disease has sadly affected friends and family around me.
“It is clear there is a critical role for politicians to play in helping to detect cancer earlier and bring innovative new treatments to patients faster.”
