Spalding’s Inner Wheel has celebrated 68 years of influence in the town with a special lunch.
The club held its 68th Charter Anniversary on Friday, March 11, at Spalding Golf Club.
Vice president Pauline Start stepped into president Kathleen Price’s shoes and hosted as she was unable to attend.
An Inner Wheel spokesman said: “Members from the Spalding Inner Wheel Club, members from other Inner Wheel clubs and friends all enjoyed a delicious meal provided by the golf club.
“Petronella Keeling MBE was our guest speaker talking about her role as Deputy Lieutenant of Lincolnshire.
“She brought along her official badge of office which was passed around for all to see.”
