Industry magazine accolade for Spalding chippy

Spalding fish and chip shop Oh My Cod has been rated one of the best in the UK.

A mystery shopper competition run by Fry Magazine saw the Alexandra Road chippy finish in the top 50 of almost 500 entries.

The shop, run by Bill and Sandy Rai, scored 97 per cent after being rated across several categories including taste of the batter, fish and chips, service, staff, telephone enquiry and lasting impressions.
Sandy said: “We were ecstatic to find out that we’re one of the top chip shops.”
