Hospital’s thanks for Lynne

Holbeach Hospital has thanked one of its longest serving members of staff.

Lynne Carter is retiring after 25-years working as a carer for the Holbeach and East Elloe Hospital Trust which oversees the community hospital.

She started there on November, 19 1997.

A party lunch was organised by the care team and she received gifts and cards from staff.
Hospital trustee, Debra Ward, presented Lynne with gifts and flowers on behalf of trustees to thank her for her many years of service.

Manager, Maxine Winch, said “Lynne has been a valued member of our care team for many years and will be very much missed, however we hope she has a long and happy retirement and thank her for all her work over 25 years.”

Mandy Secker, care champion, said “I have worked with Lynne for 25 years at the hospital, we have both seen many changes over the years, she has always been hard-working, cheerful and had great relationships with the residents and their families.

“I know the care team will all miss her presence very much.”

A trust spokesman said Lynne wanted to thank everyone for their kind messages, cards and gifts and giving her a brilliant send off.
