Home comforts for Whaplode Drove B at six-a-side football tournament

There was a home winner at the Whaplode Drove six-a-side football tournament on Sunday.

Whaplode Drove B emerged victorious on the day, beating runners-up Tydd Tigers FC 2-0 in the final.

Losing semi-finalists on the day were Polinia FC A and Upwell FC A.

Organiser David Barfoot said: “Thanks go to everyone who helped on the day.

“Special thanks goes to Sainsbury’s Spalding and Hereward Sports and Trophies, Peterborough.”
