A Holbeach charity has given away more than £12,000 so far this year.

In the latest donation, Chosen has presented £500 to Ellie-Mae Belokon-Dennis who is raising funds for her trip to America for the 24th World Scout Jamboree.

She will be joining around 50,000 scouts from around the world in West Virginia.

The charity has also donated £4,000 to Veterans Pilgrimage Fund, £5,000 to the Royal Anglian Benevolant Fund, £250 to local dog rescue, £500 to Holbeach United Youths, £1,000 to Nick Franklin for heart and cancer charities and £200 to the Calum Pite Smile Charity.

“We would like to thank everyone for their generosity and hard work,” said Lisa Clarke, secretary.
