Holbeach Horticultural Society talk cancelled over coronavirus ‘concerns’

A talk by gardening journalist Adam Pasco planned for tonight (Thursday) has been cancelled due to ‘concerns surrounding coronavirus’.

A spokesman for the society said the decision was made by Pasco.

“Sadly at the suggestion of our speaker for the evening Adam Pasco we have taken the decision to cancel tonight’s meeting due to concerns surrounding Conovirus and the sensible suggestion to avoid large meetings.”

The society will book Adam again for next year’s schedule.
