There were smiles all round for a group of young martial artists who had a very successful weekend.
Members of the Taekwon-Do school in Whaplode took part in the national championships which were held in Hertfordshire at the weekend.
The group of 25 students aged between 7-years-old and 40 all took part in the event.
And the club returned home with an astounding haul of no fewer than 13 bronzes, 15 silvers and eight gold medals.
The club, run by Luke Dempsey, also had seven national champions in sparring and one in patters.
It was the fourth time the club had taken part and there has been consistent progression.
“We’re excited to return in 2026 eager to maintain these impressive results and improve where possible, said Luke.
