Gosberton Ladies give to hospice

A women’s group has donated money it raised with charity events to a hospice.

Michelle Smith and Belinda Taylor, from Gosberton Ladies Circle, said the group was pleased to make a donation of £250 to local charity, the Butterfly Hospice.

“The ladies group chose the Butterfly Hospice for their donation this year as so many people are affected both directly and indirectly by illnesses that the Butterfly Hospice can help patients through respite care and difficult times.”

During the ceremony, Yvonne Slater from the Butterfly Hospice was presented with a cheque for £250 following “a very interesting talk about how the hospice was founded, how it is funded and the many charity functions they organise to raise funds for its continued use,” the group said.
