This Friday, you don’t have to travel to a galaxy far, far away to learn the ways of the Jedi – you can learn lightsaber tricks and more at Peele Leisure Centre in Long Sutton.
The latest Star Wars film, Solo: A Star Wars Story, opens on Friday, the same day as the special Star Wars event in Long Sutton which has a packed schedule with fun for everyone, whichever side of the force you fall on.
For starters, you might want to get in character or make your own intergalactic hero alter-ego, there is a prize for the best dressed attendee.
Also on the day, there is the chance to pick up the skills you need to save the galaxy, with Jedi combat class and Luke and Leia lightsabre class.
Also on the active front, there’s a “use the force” obstacle course.
There will be the chance to get hands on with galaxy slime making and an art competition.
The activites are free and the event starts at 5pm and runs from 8.30pm.
