A Spalding woman left an air ambulance charity £10,000 in her will.
Noreen Clark (pictured) who passed away in May 2018, aged 88, left a generous donation of £10,000 for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.
The charity receives no direct Government funding, relying solely on the donations of people in the community.
Noreen’s God daughter was recently invited to meet the crew at Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance in honour of her late Godmother.
“She did so much to help others and even up until six years ago, she partly cared and shopped for an elderly neighbour, but could no longer after she had major surgery. Through all of this she remained positive and chirpy, even though she was left virtually housebound.
“Hopefully, by bequeathing money to various charities, my Godmother has made many other people’s lives better.”
Karen Jobling, Chief Executive Officer at the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, said: “We are extremely grateful to Mrs Clark for the kind gift left in her Will, which will allow us to attend many more missions across Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire.
“Since we first started operations in 1994, we have completed over 19,700 potentially life-saving missions.
“It was wonderful to meet Noreen’s family when they came to visit and to be able to show them what an incredible legacy she has left.”
