Gearing up for some Motormania

Holbeach and Fleet are set for Motormania this weekend.

The car show will include a host of classic and unusual cars at Lawns and Lakes Campsite in Fleet Hargate on Sunday, June 2.
It will be open from 10am with judging of cars from 11am and the winners of trophies selected, including for best in show, best modified, best classic, best vintage bike and best club stand.
A spokesman for Holbeach Community First group, the organisers, said: “There will be lots to keep you entertained throughout the day, with over 20 local food and trade stands, along with over 300 cars and bikes.
“There will also be music from Hold The Sky and lots of activities for the kids with bouncy castles, and face paint.”
A parade of some of the vehicles is also set to roll through Holbeach and Fleet on Saturday (June 1).
It will set off from Fleet Road Industrial Estate and go along Fleet Road, High Street, Barrington Gate, Station Street, Hallgate, Netherfield, up Spalding Road and round Link Road roundabout, back up Spalding Road, High Street, Fleet Road, through Fleet Hargate before dispersing along the A17.
