Get quizzical to help town bloom

Long Sutton in Bloom is gearing up for another fantastic showing and you can play your part by attending a fundraising quiz this Friday (May 31).

The volunteers who enter the town into the East Midlands In Bloom competition have been busy in the last few weeks creating the hanging baskets ready to adorn the town.
And they’ve already been delighted with the comments from members of the public on the displays that have already been put up.
They’ve also been boosted by a donation of fertiliser thanks to MJP Supplies of Gedney Dyke.
A spokesman for Long Sutton in Bloom said: “Thank you to the company and its Marcus Palmer for generously donating all the fertiliser for our baskets and planters this year.
“It is the kindest of others that helps to make our town look beautiful.”
The fundraising quiz night for Long Sutton in Bloom talkes place at the Market House on Friday from 7pm.
The cost is £3 per person. Bring your own bar.
