Spalding sparkled on Friday night thanks to the annual Christmas lights switch-on.
The town centre was packed with people enjoying the entertainment and festivities.
Coun Gary Taylor, portfolio holder for community development at South Holland District Council, said: “Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Christmas lights switch-on event. It was an incredible atmosphere and was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves.
“Thank you to the businesses which stayed open in support of the event to give visitors an extended opportunity for Christmas shopping.
“The event was very well supported and we hope everyone enjoyed the opportunity to officially start Christmas with family and friends.”
