Full steam ahead for country fayre

One of the biggest events in the area’s calendar is back this weekend.

The Holbeach Town and Country Fayre returns to Hurdletree Bank from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, June 14 and 10am to 4pm the following day.

Alongside the usual display of vehicles celebrating the culture of the area, there will be a host of attractions with something for all the family.

A spokesman for the organisers said: “We are planning a great weekend for the whole family with over 400 exhibitors.

“They will include Norfolk Mini Tractor Pullers running all day, arena displays, trade and craft stalls, children’s entertainment including games and bouncy castles, beer tent and lots of food stands.

“We also have the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight fly past each day subject to weather with two Hurricans scheduled to go over on Saturday, followed by two Spitfires on Sunday.

“There’s so much more but too much to list.

“We really hope to see you there.”

Ticket are £9 and available on the gate with free entry for U16s.

‘Well behaved dogs’ are also welcome on a lead.
