Full house for Spalding

Spalding were delighted to be able to field three teams on Saturday.
As well as the first team in the Lincolnshire County Board Premier League, they also had two teams in action in the South Lincs and Border League.
Richard Riley captained a youthful third team, who put up a great fight in Division Three. Ravi Tamber-Hardy (17) and Josh Riley (14) top-scored in their 84-run total and they made a terrific attempt at defending that.
Wickets fell regularly in Uffington’s response and at 80/9 the hosts were one wicket from victory. Josh White took 3-9, Tim Bosco 2-3 and Lily Spridgen 2-21 but the visitors eked out six more runs to finish on 86/9.
The second team were the club’s sole victors, emerging five-wicket winners at Boston Royal Seconds after skittling the hosts for 94 and then reaching 96/5 inside 30 overs in response to climb off the foot of the Division One table.
Boston Seconds captain Liam Brooks proved to be a thorn in the side of Long Sutton Seconds, hitting 106 in his side’s 78-run success in Division One of the South Lincs and Border League.
The visitors scored 215/7, with Steven Milnes taking 3-51 for Sutton.
The home openers went for only seven runs between them but Philip Barnes (39), Jack Baker (22) and two others passed the 20-run mark only for a lower order collapse to see 10-man succumb for 137.
In Sunday’s Broke Cup quarter-final, Sutton enjoyed an ‘odds-on’ 38-win over Narborough.
No.3 batsman Daniel Plant (25), no.5 Jack Smith (32), no.7 Arjun Odedra (77 including four 6s and seven 4s) and no.9, captain Craig Milnes (25) provided the core of their 255.
A Narborough player hit 131 in the reply but lacked support and Daniel Plant’s 4-11 sent them towards an all-out score of 217.
