Community groups in South Holland can get free advice about funding opportunities and the different types of services available to them at a special event in Spalding.
The event at the South Holland Centre on Wednesday, March 25 (noon to 8pm) is being organised by South Holland District Council.
Although primarily aimed at community groups, the event will also be of benefit for artists, charities, schools, social enterprises, village hall committees, sports clubs, parish councils, local businesses and youth groups.
Presentations explaining how to write successful bids, how to set up community groups as well as outlining safeguarding advice and volunteering will be held.
Coun Nick Worth, the council’s portfolio holder for community, said: “This is a really useful event for anyone involved with community groups in the district.”
