Ford fires his 40th of the season for Pinchbeck Sunday

Prolific hitman Josh Ford took his Pinchbeck United Sunday tally for the season to an impressive 40 at the weekend.

Ford notched four times as Pinchbeck booked their place in the John Chappell Shield final with a 7-1 home triumph over Swineshead Institute on Sunday.

Ricky Drury, Luke Gardner, Ollie Pinner and Gary Piper also bagged to seal a 16-4 aggregate win and set up a final against Brennans Sports.

Meanwhile, Leigh Boekestyn and Jack Wycherley both scored hat-tricks to give Jubilee an 8-1 win at Punchbowl Tigers in the Mont Pell Trophy. Danny Nichols was also on-target.

Murrow Bell are also through after seeing off Punchbowl Panthers 2-1. Andrew Harrison and Chris Ward got the goals.

Brennans Sports are the other side to progress, as they dispatched Spalding Seas End Wanderers 3-0 following goals from Samuel Fowler, Anthony Murphy and Matthew Wilson.
