Volunteers have raised over £1,000 for Spalding’s hospital thanks to a Christmas Fair.
The Friends of Johnson Hospital weren’t blessed with good weather when they held it recently but they were delighted with the turnout.
The event included the Spalding Community Choir singing and teas, coffee and cakes from Pinchbeck WI, plus a tombola run by the Tollgate WI and a bottle stall by the Inner Wheel.
Secretary Christine Grocock said: “Thanks to everyone who played their part, especially for the local community for braving such a grim day to show their support.
“Their generosity ensures that we can continue to provide much-needed equipment and comfort for patients and support for the hospital staff.”
