Following the success of last year’s Family Fun Day, the South Holland Centre is offering another day of arts and crafts for young people and their grown-ups on Saturday.
Starting at 11am, accompanied under sevens will be creating percussive soundtracks to clips from Mary Poppins with Act II Theatre Company.
At the same time, children aged seven to 12 years have the chance to dance like a chimney sweep in a dance workshop led by Polka Dot Academy.
Vibe youth choir will liven up the lunch hour from 12.30pm with a performance of their fresh and funky vocal harmonies in the café.
Then after lunch, the energetic dance leaders of popular Top of the Poppets disco will bop and boogie on down with accompanied under sevens at 1.30pm.
Meanwhile older children aged seven to 12 will be making kites, chalk pavement drawings and clay modelling with Creation Station.
The whole day ends with a screening of the classic children’s film Mary Poppins at 3.30pm.
