Around £500 has been raised by a Spalding family for a charity that brings cancer care closer to home for loved ones.
Jamie Knight regularly decks the front garden out for Halloween and last year he did so for Hope For Tomorrow with support from his aunt Susan Poulter in support of her husband John.
Last year he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, the primary source of which hasn’t been identified.
Every month Hope For Tomorrow brings the injections John (66) is given to Spalding to avoid him and other cancer patients having long trips to hospitals across Lincolnshire for treatment.
In total 13 vehicles deliver cancer treatments to 41 locations in the county.
And it’s £496.50 better off thanks to donations from visitors to the house on October 31.
Gosberton Medical Centre and Spalding Ladies’ Circle also helped out with selling raffle tickets.
Susan said: “Thank you to everybody who helped raise the fantastic amount.
“We intend to repeat the same charity event this coming Halloween.”
