Moulton Harrox drew 1-1 with Peterborough and District League Premier Division leaders Uppingham Town on Saturday.
Both side’s had to settle for a spoils despite creating chances with Declan Earth netting for Moulton.
It leaves Harrox in fourth, seven points behind Uppingham with four games in hand.
A number of sides are still in the title hunt, though it now looks unlikely for Crowland Town who suffered a sixth loss of the season in a 1-0 defeat at Stamford Belvedere.
Elsewhere, Holbeach United Reserves lost 2-1 at home to Warboys Town.
The visitors finished with ten-men and Jordan Keeble gave his side hope of finding an equaliser, but it wasn’t to be.
It was a better weekend for now fourth placed Holbeach United Sports in Division One who thrashed third placed Chatteris 8-0 at home through doubles from Daniel Prince and McKenzie Lee off the bench plus goals from Liam Barnett, Cameron Lee and Ashton Shirley.
There was a big win too for 12th placed Long Sutton Athletic who beat sixth placed Eunice Huntingdon 4-0 courtesy of goals from Calvin Bird, Jamal Nyang, Arron Pike and Jack Greenacre.
An Adam Richardson double gave Whaplode Drove Rovers’ Division Two title hopes a boost as they won 2-1 at Hampton.
