As Spalding and District Billiards league takes a Christmas break, the final games before the festive period saw barely any change in the whole division.
However leaders Donington B had their lead cut down to three points after suffering a home defeat to third placed Pyramid B 5-2.
Mick Pearl (r35) was the only winner for Donington with a 200-185 against Maurice Phillipson (r80).
Phil Cooke (r90) and Darrell Read (r20) for Pyramid secured the win with both getting 200-169 results against Neil Reynolds (o50) and Neil Burton (r65).
Broadway made ground in second place with a 5-2 win at home to Gosberton, Des Forbes (r60) is hitting a bit of form with a third straight win, to take the first frame for Gosberton 200-103, he defeated Gary Norman (o265), Norman making breaks of 48, 48, and 41.
A closely fought game saw Steve Singh (o50) edge out Shane White (o30) 200-173 to level up for Broadway.
Roxton Chapman (o265) was in good form. He managed ten breaks with a total of 394, including a 81, 72 and 70, in his win 200-90 win against Marcus Pell (o45). Broadway winning 5-2.
Pyramid A hosted Holbeach A and remain in fourth with a 5-2 win.
Wins for John Clapton (r120) and John Twell (r50) against Jason Rose (scr) and Ben Harding (o5) respectively took the points for Pyramid.
John Dawson (r60) for Holbeach got the two points for Holbeach with a 200-174 win against Oli Player (r25).
Holbeach B gained a 5-2 win away to Donington A.
Denis Hix (r70) and Andy Spearman (r80) got them off to a good start with wins against Nigel Brasier (r45) and Jim Thompson (r65), however Tony Scully (r40) salvaged two points for Donington with a 20 points victory against Neil Harvey (r20)
A bottom of the table clash saw Consti jump up one place, with them winning 5-2 away at Services.
Alan Hansard (r75) and Stewart Davies (r40) had wins against Vince Fitter (o5) and Chris Dunmore (o5) to take the points for Consti.
Phil Spencer (r90) for Services claimed the two points with a 200-111 win against Mick Johnson (o75).
