A Spalding day centre has shown appreciation to its volunteers through a special lunch.
The Meadows Day Centre relies heavily on volunteers with all drivers and escorts and day room helpers giving their time for free.
A spokesman said: “Without them, as a small, local charity, we would not be able to provide such an amazing and unique service to older people in the local community.”
To say thank you, the centre hosted a volunteers thank you afternoon, which was in the style of a picnic.
There were games, prizes, presents and an array of buffet food prepared by the centre’s cooks.
The Meadows would once again like to say thank you to all of its hard working volunteers for their continuous support.
